URU’s Bwali Robert Appointed By Rugby Afrique.

Bwali Robert has been appointed by Rugby Afrique as the Assistant Tournament Director of the Africa Regional 7s Center World Cup Qualifiers on 12-13th March in Bujumbura.

He serves as the Training and Education Manager at the Uganda Rugby Union and doubles as the 2022 Nile Special Rugby Premier League Manager.

He has experience in managing 7s tournaments as he has managed all national 7s tournaments for the last 3 years.

Robert comes in with a wealth of experience in handling Olympic Solidarity Funded World Rugby Courses in various countries like Rwanda, Ghana and Sierra Leone.

Being appointed for the tournament in Bujumbura will mark his 2nd appearance as he was also involved in the Africa 7s World Cup Qualifier South in Lesotho last month.

“I feel privileged to be honored with this appointment and this means it’s work in progress for me. It also shows that people are following what I do. I feel Rugby Afrique has seen potential in me and I’m looking forward to serving wherever they will send me. “
