In the women’s premiership, Nile Rapids dominated Panthers 24-9, avenging an earlier defeat at Legends Rugby Grounds. Rapids’ disciplined defence limited Panthers to three penalties, while their sharp attack showcased title contender form, and a will to clean up any faults.

KCB KOBs and Warriors RFC continued to honour the legacy of the late Patrick Mileke Aredo’s contribution to Ugandan Rugby through the Mileke Shield, this time played at a new venue in Kira (5d Ranch), the teams faced off with KCB KOBs displaying utter dominance from the start concluding the fixture with a tremendous 57-05 win. Brian Wandera was awarded most valuable player of the fixture.

Toyota Buffaloes’ forward power preserved their lead, while Sharks impressed in Jinja.

Toyota Buffaloes retained table top position following their dominant display against Plascon Mongers at the Graveyard in Makerere, while Victoria Sharks devoured Hippos in a 31-15 victory in Jinja.
