Join us on this journey as we roar louder than ever. First stop Entebbe!!”

Jonan Manzi, a trustee of Hippos Rugby Club, had this to say when asked about the return of the Hippos: “The Hippos were divided, so we decided to merge the old committee with the new committee to form a new united committee. We had the support from brilliant people such as Hon. Balaam Barugahara, who brought about the peace and harmony we have now. I would like to appreciate Hon. Balaam Barugahara and the Uganda Rugby Union representatives in attendance, who all contributed to where we are now as a club. I would also like to appreciate the players, because without them uniting, we wouldn’t have gotten here.”
When asked if he had any message to send to the Hippos Fans, Jonan Manzi said, “Thanks to the fans for standing with us. You know, storms come, but never last. This weekend is going to be full of excitement and joy; it’s going to be wonderful. I would also like to thank the fans who kept coming and supporting us even through the storm. Please come this weekend, bring your friends, Family, relatives, girlfriends, boyfriends, dogs, and also your cats!”
