Shafic Kiyaga appointed Uganda Rugby Union Communications Officer.

Shafic Kiyaga has been appointed as the new Uganda Rugby Union Communications Officer by the Uganda Rugby Union Executive Committee.

About Shafic Kiyaga:

Shafic joins URU after serving in several roles in the media fraternity such as Sports Show Host at Radio One, Sports Show Host  and Producer at Next Media Services, Chief Editor at Football 256 News and as Senior Journalist at Pulse Sports. Shafic brings with him experience in crafting and producing sports news stories over the last 8 years across traditional media including, radio, TV and print.

Holding a Diploma in Mass Communication after initially majoring in Business Administration at Makerere University Business School, Shafic is passionate about sports and the role it plays in building the ability to work as part of a team, building relationships & camaraderie to win.

Uganda Rugby Union hopes to leverage his experience to grow our communications strategy and continue to engage with and build our fan base.
