Through effective teamwork, she envisions elevating the Barthes Trophy while inspiring women towards equality, and leadership. “Every step needs a ladder,” she says. This role advances her pursuit to serve rugby at a higher level and feed local competitions with expertise.
The U20 Africa Cup (Barthes Trophy), named after former Rugby Afrique President Pierre Barthés, features nine Under 20 national teams: Uganda (hosts), Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Senegal, Madagascar, Côte d’Ivoire, and Zambia. The tournament set for Hoima City Stadium promises fierce regional rivalries and a talent pipeline for the Cranes.
