Kampala, Uganda — 18^th August 2026. Thirteen Men have been selected to the Rugby Cranes 7s team that will participate in the 2026 Driftwood 7s in Mombasa, Kenya from the 22^nd to 23^rd August 2026 at Mombasa Sports Club. The team is set to depart on Wednesday 19^th 2026.

The selected team includes: (Ian Munyani (Captain), Alex Aturinda (Vice Captain), Roy Kizito,Desire Ayera, Olango Allan,Patrick Okello, Tukei Aaron, Malcom Okello, Ssembusi Shakim, Etwau Dennis, Otim Daniel, Bulima Ivan, Karim Arinaitwe, Head Coach: Otim Allan, Team Manager: Micheal Wandera, Team Physio: Asiimwe Samuel)

Rugby Cranes 7s will compete in Pool B along side top Kenyan Clubs including KCB Rugby, Blak Blad and Kisumu.

About Driftwood 7s

The 2026 Driftwood 7s is the 4^th Circuit of the 2026 Sportpesa National 7s Circuits scheduled for 22^nd to 23^rd August 2026 in Mombasa Kenya at Mombasa Sports Club. Driftwood 7s 2026 is the 36^th edition of the event running from approximately 1989/1990. Uganda last appeared in the event in 2013.
