Lady Cranes take on Madagascar today at 2pm in a do-or-die relegation clash at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi, with both sides fighting to stay in the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup, Performance Division.

Uganda have lost both of their opening games, going down 43–10 to Kenya and 47–20 to South Africa. Madagascar are also without a win, having lost 64–5 to South Africa and 59–0 to Kenya. That makes this a must-win for both teams if they want to stay in Africa’s top tier.
The winner stays in the Performance Division. The loser gets relegated.
Lady Cranes have made changes to Wednesday’s matchday 23 for this final game. The front row has been reshuffled: Doreen Sijali is now at 1, Fazirah Namukwaya at 2, and Doreen Mbabazi at 3, while Proscovia Mukyala moves up to lock. Hellen Acanit comes into the starting XV at 4, and Leona Acen drops to the bench. Peace Nemira is also on the bench today, replacing Yvonne Najuuma.

This is the Lady Cranes’ last chance to end their campaign on a high and show what they can do under pressure.
