The Uganda Rugby Union held trail sessions for the U20 girls and Lady Cranes XV team.

A total of 62 U20 players took part from 10 clubs ie Ewes, Panthers, Walukuba Titans, Kijabweme, Lady Pacers, Njeru Cyclones, Black Pearls, Junior Avengers, Ripples, Kabale Berg Princesses and Mbarara

From the Lady Cranes XV side, 30 players took part in the trial from which only 25 will be selected to play at the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup 2022.
