Entebbe based Mongers were hosted by Rams in the first league game at Makerere at 1:00pm.

Mongers emerged victors of the game in a full time score of 11-15 with a penalty by Robin Nyombi in the 21st minute. Trevor Tusiime aka ‘Hardest 12’ scored a try in the 32nd minute with a conversion by William Lukwago. In the 78th minute, Elija Sseguya made the last try to put Mongers in the lead.

Rams on the other end had a penalty by Karim Aziz in the 26th minute. In the second half, Nelson Mandela converted a penalty in the 57th minute. New signing Kenneth Okong aka Limbo scored a try  with a missed conversion.

Mongers will host Rhinos at 3:00pm in Entebbe for their 2nd league game.
