KOBs Rugby Club Elects New Leadership to Ignite Diamond Jubilee Revival.

KOBs Rugby Club, one of Uganda’s rugby powerhouses, has ushered in fresh leadership with the election of a dynamic new Executive Committee. The announcement came during a pivotal meeting yesterday, Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Nob View Hotel in Ntinda, signaling a bold push to reclaim the club’s competitive edge and fortify its future amid its diamond jubilee celebrations.
Darren Rutagwera steps up as the new Chairperson, bringing experience from his prior role as Vice Chairperson. He’s supported by a talented lineup committed to on-field success and off-field stability.

Rutagwera, addressing members post-election, reflected on recent challenges but radiated optimism, focusing on coaching upgrades, squad building, and sponsorship pursuits. The committee also prioritizes community ties and restoring the club’s winning culture within 12-18 months.
