Uganda Cup 2025 is set to enter an exciting weekend as the top teams battle in the Quarter Finals.
After five rounds of competitive Pool matches, eight teams qualified by finishing in the top two of their pools. Stanbic Black Pirates topped Pool A with 19 points, followed by Life Guard Rams. Hippos led Pool B unbeaten with 17 points, trailed by Rhinos. KCB KOBs and Toyota Buffaloes qualified from Pool C with 17 and 16 points respectively, while Platinum Credit Heathens and Makerere Impis advanced from Pool D.
This weekend’s fixtures promise thrilling encounters. Stanbic Black Pirates, who scored the highest round points, face Makerere Impis. The previous finalists, Platinum Credit Heathens, will meet Life Guard Rams again. Hippos, unbeaten in the rounds, play Toyota Buffaloes in a close contest with only a one-point difference. In an interesting schedule of events the Quarter final fixtures will be played on two days this coming weekend, Friday 21st November and Sunday 23rd November.
Quarterfinals are shaping up for high stakes set to unfold.
The Women competition resumes on the 29th November with the Semi finals as Panthers plays She Wolves, and Avengers takes on Nile Rapids.
