The Eastern Region 7s champions Walukuba took part in the Soroti 7s hosted by Soroti Rangers in Soroti.

The team suffered  losses in all games played with their closest score registered in the game against Soroti Rangers. The 5th placed team in the Eastern Regional 7s (Soroti Rangers) defeated them 10-05.

”The results show a good shift of enthusiasm from the boys and I am confident that our build up to the core 7s status qualification chase is valid. A few mistakes and indiscipline cost us some of the games am sure we would have made it to the quarter finals this past weekend but we take it on as a lesson. As a team we gonna polish up and too, do some recovery since we picked up 2 injuries (but not severe) for the next 7s outing.”- Leonard Lubambula
