Fans Take Centre Stage in Easter Rugby Festivities across the country.

This Easter break promises more than just rest and reflection for Uganda’s rugby community, as fans step off the sidelines and into the heart of the action in a series of fun-filled, interactive events. The festivities kick off on Good Friday at Rugby Chill, where the traditional boundaries between players and supporters will be blurred in an exciting touch rugby experience. Here, fans and players will mix freely to form teams, creating a unique atmosphere of camaraderie, laughter, and shared passion for the game. The emphasis will be less on competition and more on enjoyment, giving participants of all skill levels a chance to engage with rugby in a relaxed and inclusive setting.

The excitement then shifts to Jinja on Saturday at the Ruck Yard, where the energy will be turned up a notch with a dynamic sevens rugby tournament. Featuring eight teams, the event will carry a playful twist as fans take on leadership roles stepping in as coaches and captains to guide their sides through the competition. Adding to the thrill of the weekend, two lucky fans will win an unforgettable bungee jumping experience courtesy of Bungee Uganda, one of the key sponsors of the event. This exciting reward perfectly complements the adventurous spirit of the weekend, giving participants something extra to look forward to beyond the rugby action.

With fast-paced matches, lively crowds, and a festival-like atmosphere, the weekend is set to celebrate the sport in its purest form, bringing people together through shared love, participation, and unforgettable experiences.
