The Black Pearls and Blue Whales emerged winners of the URU National Womens 7s that took place at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on Sunday 28th November.

A total of 9 teams took part in this tournament that featured champions of the regional 7s that had been recently concluded.

Members of Parliament like Judith Achan- Nwoya District woman MP,Brenda Namakuta Woman MP Kaliro District and Hon Mercy Atim from UWOPA were present at the event.

The circuit was completed with Black Pearls leading the table with 9 points followed by Avengers (7 points), Mbale Eagles followed with 4 points and Kitgum wins with 5points.

In the Tier B category, Blue Whales led the table with 13 points, Mbale Eagles (13 points) Nile Leopardess 10points, Spire Lions (10points) Black Diamonds (9 points) and Western Franchise (5 points)
