The Women Representative on the Uganda Rugby Union Executive committee was pleased with the general performance of the teams at the circuit.
‘This being our second circuit, the quality of play has really stepped up, the players have showed they are really passionate about rugby and they want to play to the best of their ability. There is progress and we now have quite a pool of formidable players and good runners in all teams. The future looks bright for womens rugby in Uganda.”- Regina Lunyolo
Happy teammate Charlotte Mudoola attributed the win to teamwork and a supportive management.”Rugby is a team sport. So it is more of teamwork and hardwork. The Stanbic Black Pirates management has also put in effort to support players…transport them from all the way from Jinja to Kampala. Keeping together and playing as a team contributed to the win.”
