Black Pearls emerged victors of the URU Womens Nationals at Kyadondo Rugby Club after defeating Avengers 24-12.

Tries for Back Pearls were made by Suzan Adong, Emilly Lekuru and Ritta Nadunga with conversions by Charlotte Mudoola. Avengers tries were made by Peace Lekuru(2) and one conversion by Nassozi Maimuna.

Black Pearls had good speed which my team didn’t have. They were heads up and knew what they wanted from the start. We are going back to the drawing board. I am still proud of my team for the job well done throughout the day.

It was a very amazing experience especially that we lost one of the matches to Avengers in the group stages. We really needed to put our heads together and focus on the main picture which was to win the final. We played as a team
