UGANDA CUP WOMEN’s FINAL SET FOR NAMBOOLE SHOWDOWN.

The stage is set for a thrilling Uganda Cup women’s final this Saturday, 6th December, as Nile Rapids take on She Wolves at Namboole Stadium. The clash brings together two of Eastern Uganda’s strongest ladies’ sides, marking a historic all-Eastern final to wrap up the 2025 Ugandan Rugby season.
Defending champions Nile Rapids come into the match with confidence and experience, having shown composure throughout the tournament and edging tough opponents with disciplined, structured play. Their consistency and big-game mentality make them the team to beat.
On the other side, She Wolves arrive as the tournament’s surprise package. After upsetting Panthers in the semifinal, they carry momentum, youthful energy and a fearless attitude into the final. Their fast-paced style and resilient defence promise to test the defending champions from the first whistle.
With both teams representing the same region but bringing contrasting styles, Saturday’s match is expected to deliver intensity, pride, and high-quality rugby. Fans are anticipated to turn up in big numbers as Namboole becomes the center of Eastern Uganda’s rising rugby power.
Kick-off for the Women’s match is set for 2:00 PM at Namboole National Stadium with an entrance fee of 10,000 ugx only.
